AltCampus is affordable and opens the door to have a career in web development. AltCampus's scheduled program, weekly demo sessions, hackathons, code reviews, etc. provided the necessary milieu to set the ball rolling, and at the same time being challenging enough to push the limits. The peer-based learning helped in setting the right perspective to gauge progress. The program demanded a certain level of self-motivation to adapt to different mental models and learn quickly.
